Description
Summary:Just like the debate about panentheism, the discussion about the sixth petition of the Lord’s Prayer shows that not only academic theology, but also society as a whole is in a process of clarifying the correct image of God. This article describes the dispute over the nature of God as a conflict of aims : it is on the one hand about preserving historical experience, but on the other about avoiding logical contradictions.
