Al mismo tiempo, la Liturgia de las Horas puede llegar a ser fuente de vida espiritual para nosotros, porque redimidos por el misterio pascual y configurados con Cristo, por acción del Espíritu Santo, podemos entrar en este diálogo filial con el Padre que es la liturgia, y hacerlo personalmente como miembros del Cuerpo de Cristo que es la Iglesia.The liturgy, and specifically the Liturgy of the Hours, is a source of spiritual life because it is a participation in the prayer of Christ, a dialogue of eternal love with his Father, which is an essential characteristic of his life, and which was excellently manifested in his paschal mystery. At the same time, the Liturgy of the Hours can become a source of spiritual life for us, since, having been redeemed through the paschal mystery and configured to Christ by the working of the Holy Spirit, we are able to enter into that filial dialogue with the Father–which the liturgy is–and to make it our own as members of the Church, the Body of Christ. |
