After a short biographical description of my transition from a Baptist to an Anglican church, where I gained a newfound appreciation of the sacraments, I examine the sacramental view of nature in Old English wisdom poems such as Maxims I and II as well as in Tt,lfric's Sermo de sacrificio in diepascae.
