Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Ergebnisse zur Theologie des Buches lässt sich feststellen, dass das Buch - wie bisher noch nicht wahrgenommen - zwei Antworten auf die Frage nach der Vereinbarkeit der klassischen Lehre vom Tun-Ergehen-Zusammenhang und gegenteiliger Beobachtungen sowie Erfahrungen im Alltag und Leben des Menschen gibt und damit die anhaltende Gültigkeit dieser Lehre konstatiert. Die eine Antwort wird aus der Anthropologie (2. Teil), die andere aus der Eschatologie (3. Teil) des Buches heraus entwickelt. <dt.>

An examination of the characterisation of God is followed by an analysis of the conditions of human existence – and thus, of God himself as the creator of humans. The third part focusses on the actions of God as judge. Against the background of these results concerning the theology of the book of Qoheleth, I argue that this book - unlike previous examinations - provides two answers to the question of compatibility of the classical doctrine of the Tun-Ergehen-Zusammenhang with observations and experiences contrary to that doctrine - and thereby states the validity of this doctrine. The first answer is developed through the anthropology, the second through the eschatology of the book of Qoheleth. <engl.>
