Architectural structures and objects recovered from these excavations are described here. 1992 fanden Ausgrabungen in Shishin, am östlichen Ufer des Euphrat und südlich des Haditha-Damms im Irak gelegen, statt. Auf einem etwa 290 m langen und im Schnitt 60 m breiten Plateau konnten an dessen Ostflanke Reste einer altbabylonischen Befestigungsanlage freigelegt werden, deren architektonische Befunde und Funde hier vorgestellt werden. أُجريت عام ۱٩٩٢ تنقيبات أثرية في موقع شيشين الكائن على الضفة الشرقية لنهر الفرات إلى جنوب سد حديثة في العراق. وقد تم أثناء الحفريات الكشف عن بقايا منشأة تحصينية من العهد البابلي القديم شُيدت على الجانب الشرقي لمصطبة يبلغ طولها ٢٩٠ م تقريبا وعرضها ٦٠ م وسطيا. وفيما يلي تقديم البنى المعمارية للمنشأة واللقى التي وجدت فيها. |
