| Summary: | In diesem Beitrag konzentrieren wir uns auf textile Überreste als solche und eine bestimmte, indirekte Informationsquelle – Abdrücke von Textilien. Wir werden den Kontext der Objekte, für die die Textilien als Umhüllung dienten, untersuchen und auch die technischen Eigenschaften der Stoffe selbst, ausgehend von einer Gruppe von in Nippur gefundenen Ur III Gründungsfigurinen. In this article we focus both on textile remains as such and on one particular indirect source of information – textile impressions.
