Description
Summary:This essay provides a critical analysis of the theory that in rejecting classical metaphysics, which had left its mark on Christian theology since the synthesis between faith and reason in late antiquity, Protestant theology had not only eliminated questions of truth from religion and the discourse on religion, but also functionalized the Christian religion for issues of power, moral and aesthetics. The author argues that, in spite of a new understanding of metaphysics, Protestant theology, which focuses on the concept of freedom, especially the freedom of the individual, does not see the Christian religion from the perspective of the theory of power; it defines power in the perspective of a Christian religion of freedom.
