It records areas of knowledge that appear disparate from a modern point of view. They include magic, medicine, the military, agriculture and poetry. This volume examines the work, which survives only in fragments, along with its somewhat complicated reception, thus closing a gap in current research. Jh.) eine zentrale Rolle. Dort werden Wissensgebiete, die aus moderner Sicht eher disparat anmuten, verhandelt. Dazu gehören Magie, Medizin, Militär, Landwirtschaft und Dichtkunst. Im vorliegenden Band werden das fragmentarisch erhaltene Werk und sein kompliziertes Nachleben untersucht. Damit wird eine Lücke der Forschung geschlossen.
