| Summary: | Los llamados "conflictos vitales" representan una de las complicaciones más graves del embarazo, tanto desde el punto de vista clínico como ético. En el presente artículo, después de situar con algunos datos la relevancia del problema, estudiamos críticamente el primero de los dos grandes temas de discusión que provocó, en el ámbito de la teología moral católica, el trabajo de Martin Rhonheimer Vital Conflicts in Medical Ethics, encargado al autor por la Congregación para la Doctrina de la Fe. The so-called "vital conflicts" represent one of the most serious complications of pregnancy, both from the clinical and ethical point of view. In the present article, after situating with some data the relevance of the problem, we critically study the first of the two major topics of discussion that provoked, in the field of Catholic moral theology, the work of Martin Rhonheimer Vital Conflicts in Medical Ethics, commissioned to the author by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. |
