En la actualidad asistimos a otra revolución industrial y al desarrollo acelerado de la inteligencia artificial. Vemos que emergen modelos relacionales fundamentados en la superficialidad y el individualismo, los cuales conducen inexorablemente a la inestabilidad afectiva. El presente aparece quebrantado y sin paz, con sociedades cada vez más fragmentadas y polarizadas. Se hace, pues, necesaria, como remedio infalible frente a estos problemas, una urgente inyección de caridad. Pope Leo XIII, with his historical encyclical Rerum Novarum, addressed the social question in the context of the first great industrial revolution. Today, we are witnessing another industrial revolution and the accelerated development of artificial intelligence. We see the emergence of relational models based on superficiality and individualism, which inevitably lead to emotional instability. The present appears broken and peaceless, with increasingly fragmented and polarized societies. Therefore, as an infallible remedy for these problems, an urgent injection of charity is necessary. |
