Description
Summary:It is significant that the seasoning which produces the sociological flavour comes from a theological reading of sociology and not from a sociological reading of theology. Thus Gregory has read sociology from the perspective of the Gospel norm and with the most astonishing results. His interpretive stance has enabled him, on the one hand, to put flesh and bones on ghostly, feeble theology and, on the other hand, to tum to redemptive critical use the abstractions and categories of sociology which in their deep structure are themselves framed with moral intent according to his reading.
