| Summary: | In this article the Rule of Saint Benedict, in the chapter related to the welcome of guests, is the starting point to talk about hospitality, identifying the salient features which fostered the formation of Europe. The search for Lógos, the exercise of reason open to transcendence, attention to the other, constitute key concepts to reappropiate the traditional spirit born in the Christian synthesis, and which is to be continuously renewed. Del Noce helps to understand how the actual crisis is the product of a battle against all forms of transcendence. En este artículo la Regla de San Benito, en su capítulo dedicado a la recepción de los huéspedes, es el punto de partida para hablar de hospitalidad, identificando los rasgos salientes que dieron lugar a la formación de Europa. Búsqueda del Lógos, en el ejercicio de una razón abierta a la trascendencia, atención al otro, constituyen claves para reapropiarse del espíritu tradicional que surgió en la síntesis cristiana, y que está llamado a actualizarse siempre. Del Noce ayuda a entender entonces cómo la crisis actual es producto de una lucha contra toda trascendencia. |
