Summary:This article studies the complexity of a philosophy of education, either from the point of view of what a philosophical system is already or due to the complexity of the human being and society. Secondly, the article considers the complexity contained in the concept of education and the difficulty of outlining it in its definition and in an educational philosophical theory. The author, in turn, proposes a possible definition of education which is integral and comprehensive, searching to improve a biased vision, based on an almost exclusively intellectual development.
Se analizan en este artículo la complejidad que tiene una filosofía de la educación, sea desde el punto de vista de lo que es ya un sistema filosófico; sea ya por la complejidad del ser humano y la sociedad humana. En segundo lugar se analiza la complejidad contenida en el concepto de educación y las dificultades de su formulación en una definición y en una teoría filosófica educativa. El autor, por su parte, propone a consideración una posible definición de educación, integral e integradora, buscando recomponer una visión parcializada y centrada en el desarrollo casi exclusivamente intelectual.
