| Summary: | La investigación actual en torno de la historia y las cuestiones debatidas en Nicea nos permiten comprender hoy, mejor que en el pasado, las distintas tradiciones y opiniones teológicas que allí se dieron. Muchos de esos debates continúan vigentes en la actualidad. Este artículo se propone presentar un breve análisis de algunos temas claves, ya debatidos en Nicea, que continúan vigentes en la teología trinitaria contemporánea. En este escenario, tres temas se destacan por su particular centralidad y relevancia: (1) La pertinencia de partir de la noción de sustancia para dar cuenta hoy de la real unidad de las personas divinas. (2) La cuestión del orden de las personas divinas y sus relaciones de origen. (3) El vínculo entre kénosis y muerte en cruz de Jesucristo y el atributo de la inmutabilidad divina. Las diferentes perspectivas y opiniones que al respecto siguen debatiéndose hoy con vigor e intensidad manifiestan un aspecto esencial del quehacer teológico y su irrenunciable misión de buscar siempre el modo más pertinente de dar cuenta de la fe de la Iglesia en cada nuevo contexto histórico y cultural. Así, la teología continúa dando un testimonio vivo y actual de la configuración sinodal constitutiva de la tradición eclesial. The current research on the history and debated issues at Nicaea allows us to identify today, better than in the past, the different theological traditions and opinions that converged there. Many of those debates remain relevant to this day. This article aims to trace, through a concise review, key themes already present at Nicaea that continue evolving in contemporary Trinitarian Theology. In this context, three themes stand out for their particular centrality and relevance: (1) The suitability of starting from the notion of substance to account for the real unity of the divine persons. (2) The question of the order of the divine persons and their relations of origin. (3) The link between kénosis and the death on the cross of Jesus Christ and the divine attribute of immutability. The different perspectives and opinions on these issues that continue to be vigorously and intensely debated today, express an essential aspect of theological work and its indispensable mission to always seek the most relevant way to account for the Church’s faith in each new historical and cultural context. In this way, Theology continues to provide a living and current testimony of the constitutive synodal configuration of ecclesial tradition. |
