| Summary: | Este artículo quiere revisar sintéticamente el tema de la “envidia de la gracia ajena” entendido como pecado contra el Espíritu Santo. Para entender el significado y la importancia de esta temática, se han hecho algunas consideraciones teológicas previas, seguidas por unas reflexiones teológicas apoyadas en la tradición eclesial, con especial referencia a Santo Tomás de Aquino. Las conclusiones a las que hemos llegado permiten reconocer que esta temática señala –aunque de forma indirecta– la naturaleza del acontecimiento cristiano y su razonabilidad, así como la naturaleza de la communio eclesial y de su unidad. Es una temática vinculada, por tanto, a la teología fundamental, que puede recibir un útil aporte de esta reflexión. This article strives to synthetically examine the topic of “envying others’ grace”, understood as a sin against the Holy Spirit. To understand the meaning and importance of this topic, some previous theological considerations are presented, followed by theological reflections supported by ecclesial tradition – with the special reference to Saint Thomas Aquinas. The conclusions we offer allow to acknowledge that this topic points out to –although vicariously the nature of Christian event and its reasoning, as well as to the nature of the ecclesial communion and its unity. Thus, this is a topic related to fundamental theology, which can receive useful insight from this reflection. |
