| Summary: | Eteólogo moralista David Hollenbach parte del pluralismo moral, cultural y religioso como signo de los tiempos, para pensar su teología moral desde un paradigma de universalismo dialógico. Éste integra una visión universal del ser humano y la apertura a escuchar otras visiones sobre él. Para Hollenbach, las fuentes de la moral han de entrar en una correlación crítica, o razonamiento sintético, para contribuir a dar respuesta a los desafíos éticos que se presentan en la sociedad. Esta visión empodera a la Iglesia para aportar al bien común de la sociedad pluralista desde las fuentes de su tradición. The moralist and theologian David Hollenbach considers moral, cultural and religious pluralism to be the sign of the times and the point of departure to think about moral theology from dialogical universalism. This paradigm comprises a universal view of man and is open to other perspectives. For Hollenbach, thesources of morality ought to be in a critical correlation –synthetic reasoning– in order to face the ethical challenges posed by society. This new perspective empowers the Church to contribute to the common good of a pluralistic society from its own tradition. |
