| Summary: | El presente estudio muestra cómo la Reforma protestante y el protestantismo en sus diversas denominaciones también se abrió camino en Oriente Medio, llegando incluso a propagarse al Lejano Oriente mediante la acción desplegada por los misioneros protestantes europeos y americanos. Esto, debido a las colonias occidentales establecidas en estas zonas, en especial inglesas, y a la buena posición y situación financiera de las campañas emprendidas que despertaron el interés entre los cristianos orientales autóctonos. This study shows how the Protestant Reformation and Protestantism, in its various denominations, broke through in the Middle East and even to the Far East by means of the activity carried out by European and American Protestant missionaries. This was possible due to the Western colonies established in these regions, especially the English ones, and also to the good position and financial situation of the campaigns undertaken, which arose interest among native Eastern Christians. |
