O artigo retoma pontos centrais da obra de 1951, focalizando a mudança de paradigma do autor e, por conseguinte, a nova moldura em que coloca posteriormente este estudo. A morte integra a vida e a vida integra a morte. A partir desta constatação que supera as dicotomias entre o viver e o morrer, a reflexão convida a fazer memória ao ilustre professor. | ||
| 520 | |a Edgar Morin's book “L'Homme et la mort” is revisited as a concrete mirror to think about death from an anthropological point of view and, in a direct way, to honour Professor José J. Queiroz on the occasion of his death. The complexity paradigm adopted by Morin was one of the theoret-ical and methodological tools used by Queiroz in his research and reflections. The article revisits central points of the 1951 work, focussing on the author's paradigm shift and, consequently, the new framework in which he subsequently places this study. Death integrates life and life integrates death. Based on this realisation, which overcomes the dichotomies between living and dying, the reflection invites us to remember the illustrious professor. | ||
