| Summary: | Mestrandas e mestrandos em Ciência da Religião da PUC-SP devem cursar, no primeiro semestre, o curso “Projetos de Pesquisa em Ciência da Religião”. Essa disciplina obrigatória foi institucionalizada pelo professor José J. Queiroz e é, desde então, um item importante do currículo do respectivo Programa. O presente ensaio aprecia esse legado à luz de teoremas epistemológicos de Alfred Schütz que salientam a importância da matéria para a formação de novas gerações de cientistas da religião. Master's students in the Study of Religion at PUC-SP must take the course “Research Projects in Religious Studies” in the first semester. This mandatory discipline was institutionalized by Professor José J. Queiroz and has been, since then, an important item of the program's curric-ulum. This essay appreciates this legacy in the light of Alfred Schütz's epistemological theorems, which underscore the importance of the subject for the training of new generations in the field of the academic study of religion. |
