The contribution, starting from the reform of the Roman Curia carried out by Pope Francis with the Apostolic Constitution Praedicate Evangelium, intends to retrace backwards the great moments that have determined a structural modification of this body of assistance to the Pope. After brief references to the ancient age, the reforms carried out in the modern age by Sixtus V will be taken into consideration; in the twentieth century by Pius X, Paul VI and John Paul II; in the contemporary age by Francis. Through the historical-legal annotations, it will be possible to highlightthe continuous process of renewal to which the Roman Curia, one of the most complex institutions of canon law, is subjected, due to the circumstances of time and place Il contributo, prendendo le· mosse dalla riforma della Curia Romana operata da Papa Francesco con la Costituzione Apostolica Praedicate Evangelium, intende ripercorrere a ritroso i grandi momenti che hanno determinato una modificazione strutturale di quest'organo di ausilio al Papa. Dopo brevi cenni all'età antica, saranno prese in considerazione le riforme operate nell'età moderna da Sisto V; nel Novecento da Pio X, Paolo VI e Giovanni Paolo Il; nell'età contemporanea da Francesco. Attraverso le annotazioni storico-giuridiche, sarà possibile evidenziare il continuo processo di rinnovamento cui è sottoposta la Curia Romana, in ragione delle circostanze di tempo e di luogo, ovvero una delle più complesse istituzioni del diritto canonico. |
