Description
Summary:Reforming India’s madrasas is a highly contentious topic there. Indian society can advance even if significant portions of the Indian Muslim population (second largest population) continue to be impoverished, unskilled, educationally disadvantaged, and at risk. This article discusses the importance of madrasa education with suggestions, including the reasons for their significance and the challenges Talaba-e-madaris confront in India. The research was carried out on Talaba-e-madaris in New Delhi, India. To compile this research, a qualitative methodology was adopted. The data from forty-eight pupils gathered through in-depth interviews are analysed using narrative analysis. The research investigates contemporary shifts and developments. This research demonstrates why it is necessary to reconsider the functions that madrasas play in the educational landscape of the modern day. Madrasa education must be considered an inclusive process for educating people with moral values and balance society. Most madrasas across Asia need significant reforms, new interpretations, and modernisation in contemporary times.
