Description
Summary:Religio-scientific aspects of theology Theology cannot pronounce the science of religion an irrelevant matter, as that would amount to an indifference regarding the missionary task, on the one hand, and on the other hand would demonstrate ignorance regarding its own nature. Theology is being practised in the area between faith and science. Theology consists of the reflexion of faith and religio-scientific investigation finely balanced. Reflexiveness, a radicalizing of reflectiveness, entails that theology will acknowledge this and explore its implications. Confessional theology must provide for a 'theological science of religion' within its ranks.
