Description
Summary:In her article, Kogan recognizes the importance of addressing group object-relations in therapy by incorporating family of origin dynamics and sociocultural forces on one hand and religious based fusions or groupthink resistances on the other. In this response, I have added considerations for immigration as another significant area of resonance in addressing similar cross-cultural issues. I also propose that somatic practices are vital in solidifying therapeutic change.
