| Summary: | The original parchment of the act of election of Bishop Guadall of Barcelona from the year 1029, which was transcribed in part by Jaume Caresmar in the 18th century in Barcelona’s Chapter Archive and which has been untraceable since then, has recently been rediscovered in the Episcopal Archive and Library of Vic. This article retraces the hypothetical path followed by the parchment from Barcelona to Vic and presents the full text of the act, analysing its theological and liturgical content and studying the principal figures who have been involved with it. El pergamí original de l’acta d’elecció del bisbe Guadall de Barcelona, de l’any 1029, transcrit parcialment per Jaume Caresmar al segle XVIII a l’Arxiu Capitular de Barcelona i desaparegut des de llavors, ha estat retrobat recentment a l’Arxiu i Biblioteca Episcopal de Vic. En aquest article es refà l’hipotètic recorregut del pergamí des de Barcelona fins a Vic, s’ofereix el text complet de l’acta, se n’analitza el contingut, teològic i litúrgic alhora, i s’estudien els seus protagonistes. |
