| Summary: | This article presents a study of the Lladó censer at the Episcopal Museum of Vic (MEV 3746). The dearth of historical documentation about this censer has led to a search for comparable pieces, such as silver and metal censers from the 6th-7th centuries with similar characteristics. Our study has allowed both the date of the Lladó censer’s creation and its possible manufacturing workshop to be determined. L’objectiu de l’article és l’estudi de l’encenser de Lladó, del Museu Episcopal de Vic (MEV 3746). La mancança de documentació històrica sobre aquesta peça ens ha obligat a la recerca d’altres exemplars conservats equiparables. Es pot comparar amb encensers d’argent i de metall datats dels segles VI-VII que mostren característiques semblants. Les conclusions permeten apropar-nos a la cronologia i al seu possible taller de fabricació. |
