| Summary: | In the register of the pastoral visit of Santa Maria de Besalú exerced in 1429, the only known visit of this place for the Medieval times, an inventory of the books in the library of the community, now disappeared, was included. The list reflects a diversity of textes corresponding to the liturgical and intellectual life of the community that, at the same time, may reflect some of the episodies of its particular history, such as its ephemere condition of episcopal see between 1017 and 1020. Dins el registre de la visita pastoral a Santa Maria de Besalú exercida l'any 1429, l'única d'aquest lloc fins avui coneguda per a l'edat mitjana, s'inclogué l'inventari dels llibres de la biblioteca de la canònica, avui desapareguts. La llista reflecteix una diversitat de textos propis de la vida intel·lectual i litúrgica d'una comunitat canonical que alhora poden reflectir alguns dels episodis de la seva història particular, com ara la seva condició d'efímera seu episcopal entre 1017 i 1020. |
