En aquest article s'examina la figura del profeta en la pintura romànica catalana, mural i sobre taula, la seva iconografia i els contextos en què apareix, principalment quan celebra i proclama l'acompliment de les profecies bíbliques i, també, en els cas més excepcional en què implora la gràcia de Déu o quan apareix plasmat en una síntesi de les visions d'Isaïes i Exequiel. |
