Its importance lies, among other aspects, in the fact of being the only fully preserved copy of this kind of liturgical book from a Catalan church and, since it was written at the Urgell cathedral, it also serves to better know the liturgical texts used in this Pyrenees bishopric in that century, of wich there is unfortunately almost no other liturgical evidence. | ||

És de mitjan segle XII i procedeix de la petita capella de Sant Romà de les Bons, a Andorra. La seva importància rau, entre altres coses, en el fet que és l'únic exemplar íntegre conservat d'aquesta mena de llibre litúrgic procedent d'una església catalana, perquè, com que va ser escrit a la catedral d'Urgell, també serveix per a conèixer més bé els textos litúrgics emprats en el segle esmentat en aquesta seu pirinenca, de la qual, per desgràcia, gairebé no tenim cap altre testimoni litúrgic. | ||
