| Summary: | The manuscript 72 from the Montserrat Abbey Library is a Liber Misticus that contains some importants texts from the missal, the breviary and the ritual compiled in a single volume. It dates from the mid-12th century and comes from the small chapel in Sant Romà de les Bons, Andorra. Its importance lies, among other aspects, in the fact of being the only fully preserved copy of this kind of liturgical book from a Catalan church and, since it was written at the Urgell cathedral, it also serves to better know the liturgical texts used in this Pyrenees bishopric in that century, of wich there is unfortunately almost no other liturgical evidence. El manuscrit 72 de la Biblioteca de l'Abadia de Montserrat és un liber misticus que conté alguns textos importants del missal, del breviari i del ritual, aplegats en un sol volum. És de mitjan segle XII i procedeix de la petita capella de Sant Romà de les Bons, a Andorra. La seva importància rau, entre altres coses, en el fet que és l'únic exemplar íntegre conservat d'aquesta mena de llibre litúrgic procedent d'una església catalana, perquè, com que va ser escrit a la catedral d'Urgell, també serveix per a conèixer més bé els textos litúrgics emprats en el segle esmentat en aquesta seu pirinenca, de la qual, per desgràcia, gairebé no tenim cap altre testimoni litúrgic. |
