| Summary: | The Grey Collection codex, MS 3.0.5. from the Cape Town, South Africa, National Library, a 15th century book of hours from Italy, contains at its end a page in Catalan dating from the same time. It is a table indicating the number of Lord?s Prayers to be recited at each canonical hour by those replacing the Psalms of the divine office by the Lord?s Prayer. Since there is no systematic study of this usage practised from the Middle Ages until the present day, the author compares this text with some other sources. El còdex Grey Collection, ms. 3.c.5., de la Biblioteca Nacional de la Ciutat del Cap (Àfrica del Sud), un llibre d'hores del segle XV, originari d'Itàlia, conté, al final, una pàgina en català, de la mateixa època. És una taula que indica el nombre de parenostres que cal que recitin, per a cada hora canònica, aquells qui substitueixin els salms de l'ofici diví per l'oració dominical. Com que manca un estudi sistemàtic d'aquest ús, practicat des de l'edat mitjana fins als nostres dies, l'autor compara el text en qüestió amb unes altres fonts. |
