| Summary: | God, by the Revelation, is near to us and doesn’t difficult the access to Him. God’s Revelation is an initiative of Himself and a sign of His love. When Jesus Christ came to our world, He has made His tent among the elected people. Thus He has elevated us to the heaven. By means of our faith, we give the assent to God’s Revelation and open our hearts to say: “Speak, o Lord, your servant hears”. Deus se faz próximo do ser humano, não lhe dificultando o acesso. A Revelação é um privilégio de uma escolha única: é Deus quem toma a iniciativa e se revela através de alianças e promessas. Na Revelação cristã, a Palavra se faz carne e estabelece sua tenda entre os humanos; é Deus quem desce para fazer subir a humanidade, segundo a antiga formulação dos Padres do Oriente. Mas gratuidade não quer dizer comodidade ou acomodação. Ao Deus que se revela dá-se o generoso assentimento na fé. É a graça no seu sentido mais objetivo: Deus e o seu favor misericordioso e o ser humano com sua resposta e compromisso, no dizer bíblico: Fala, Senhor, que teu servo escuta! (1 Sm 3, 10). |
