| Summary: | This study takes into consideration the third chapter of the Paraphrase of the Gospel of St. John attributed to Nonnos of Panopolis, chapter which up to now was not specifi cally analysed. The author tries to identify carefully the characteristics of the exegetic and theological method that the poet follows in his paraphrase. The entire reading of the chapter shows how the orthodoxy (ὀρθὴ πίστις) for Nonnos consists in seeing with spiritual eyes the mystery of Λόγος’s incarnation. This theme is the key of a theological and exegetical reading, which allows the poet to rewrite in an unitary manner this third chapter of which he interprets the mind in an original way. Dans cette étude, en prenant en considération le chant III de la Paraphrase de l’Évangile de s. Jean attribuée à Nonnos de Panopolis, chant qui jusqu’ici n’a pas été l’objet d’analyses spécifiques, on essaie de vérifier attentivement quelles sont les caractéristiques de la méthode exégétique et théologique que le poète suit dans sa paraphrase. La lecture entière du chant montre comment l’orthodoxie (ὀρθὴ πίστις) pour Nonnos consiste à voir avec des yeux spirituels le mystère de l’incarnation du Λόγος, et comment cette clé de lecture théologique et exégétique permet à l’auteur de réécrire de façon unitaire le chapitre III de l’Évangile de s. Jean, en en interprétant l’esprit de façon originale. |
