| Summary: | En el Antiguo Testamento la comprensión del nombre de Satán/Satanás oscila entre la descripción de una función, la de acusador, sin connotaciones demoníacas, y la personificación de una amenaza contra el hombre y el plan de Dios. Esta última concepción es la que llega al Nuevo Testamento y que se deja ver en los textos en los que se menciona explícitamente a Satanás. En estos textos, salvo dos excepciones, el nombre de Satanás siempre aparece en labios de Jesús y acompañado de verbos que pertenecen a la esfera humana. In the Old Testament, the understanding of the name of Satan oscillates between the description of a function, that of accuser, without demonic connotations, and the personification of a threat against man and God's plan. This latter conception is the one that reaches the New Testament and that can be seen in the texts in which Satan is explicitly mentioned. In these texts, with two exceptions, the name of Satan always appears on the lips of Jesus and accompanied by verbs that belong to the human sphere. |
