| Summary: | This article is inserted within a theoretical context in which Brazilian historians study the issue of historical method in dealing with religion. That is an attempt to construct a knowledge of God, as well as self-knowledge, carried out by a group of militant catholic youths. Understanding those two levels of knowledge is a necessary step towards making the history of religion. Este artigo insere-se num ambiente teórico em que historiadores brasileiros trabalham a questão do método da história na lida com a religião. Busca-se construir a compreensão de Deus e de si que um grupo de pastoral de jovens católicos militantes elabora. O entendimento desses dois níveis de compreensão é um caminho necessário no esforço do historiador da religião. |
