| Summary: | Con cierto retraso respecto de su publicación, pues el catecismo va por su tercera edición, este artículo hace una lectura profunda, para detectar sus puntos débiles al presentar la fe al pueblo de Dios. En asunto tan serio, los obispos españoles deberían ser más cuidadosos, más exquisitos al redactar, más preocupados al seleccionar colaboradores y más exigentes al aprobarlo. Si se tratara de un par de fallos, alguna inexactitud, o un error insignificante, no habría materia para un artículo. Por desgracia no es así, y han ofrecido al pueblo de Dios un catecismo claramente mejorable. With some delay since its publication, for the catechism is already in its third edition, this article makes a close reading to detect its weaknesses as it exposes the faith to the people of God. In such a serious matter, the Spanish bishops should have been more careful, more exquisite in the draft and formulation of the text, more discerning in the choice of redactors and more demanding in its approval. If it were a couple of mistakes, some inaccuracies, insignificant errors, there would not be material enough for an article. Unfortunately this is not the case, and the Spanish bishops have offered the people of God a catechism clearly much in need of improvement. |
