| Summary: | Words such as “holiness”, “holy” and “sacred” seem to have been left out of the horizon of considerations about Christian life. However, what their content actually expresses is strongly linked to the fundamental experience that every Christian has when s/he assumes the commitment of “following” Jesus and of listening to what He said. The retracing of this process of discovering sanctity within a life of following Jesus is what helped us to prepare the Aparecida Document. |
