| Summary: | The article presents an analysis of the elements that make of contemporary human mobility a challenging – but privileged – occasion for the missionary effort that the Church makes once more towards today’s Christian communities. Having drawn a general panorama with the characteristics of the actual migratory currents in Brazil, the text reflects theologically about human mobility starting with the categories of interculturality and alterity, and placing migration next to the other differences that confront the Church in its evangelizing task. In the final part of the text the Author presents three enriching implications of the relation between people’s mobility and ecclesial missionary work: dynamism with daring and faith, interpersonal relation as a priority and care for the life of the “other”. O artigo apresenta uma análise dos elementos que fazem da mobilidade humana contemporânea uma ocasião desafiadora, mas privilegiada, para o imperativo missionário que a Igreja renova às comunidades cristãs de hoje, com foco especialmente atento ao contexto brasileiro. Depois de um panorama geral com as características da realidade migratória no Brasil, o texto reflete teologicamente sobre a mobilidade humana a partir das categorias da interculturalidade e da alteridade, colocando a migração junto com as demais diferenças que interpelam a Igreja em sua tarefa evangelizadora. Na parte final são apresentadas três implicações enriquecedoras na relação entre a mobilidade de pessoas e a missionariedade eclesial: o dinamismo com ousadia e com fé, a relação interpessoal como prioridade e o cuidado pela vida do “outro”. |
