Description
Summary:In this article the author resumes the Biblical sense of mercy (with its semantic and anthropological nuances) in order to approach its evangelizing value as a next step. Placed “at the heart of the gospel” human mercy refers to the divine mercy, as an active quality of the God of the Alliance revealed in Jesus Christ. Recently the Magisterium has deepened this theme with John Paulo II (Dives in misericordia) and Bento XVI (Deus caritas est) confirming the role of mercy as an ecclesial mission. Hence its charismatic-pastoral developments: in the guidelines of the evangelizing action, in the organized pastoral sand in the traditional or new apostolic communities.
