| Summary: | Med soustanovitelje revije Znamenje, ki so jo leta 1971 ustanovili trije takratni osrednji katoliški intelektualci Vekoslav Grmič, Edvard Kocbek ter Stanko Cajnkar in začrtali njeno vsebinsko naravnanost, spada tudi Jože Rajhman. Jože Rajhman was among the co-founders of the journal Znamenje, established in 1971 in collaboration with the three prominent Catholic intellectuals of the time – Vekoslav Grmič, Edvard Kocbek, and Stanko Cajnkar – who also defined its editorial direction. The es-tablishment of the journal coincided with a number of political, cultural and economic chang-es in Yugoslavia at that time and with the aggiornamento of the Second Vatican Council, which, with the Constitutions it approved, shifted the journal’s path from the »Church at War« of the First Vatican Council to that of the »Itinerant People of God«. Over the forty-two years of the journal’s publication (1971–2012), Rajhman published much of his literary output in its pages. His writings reveal him to have been an outstanding expert on the European and Slovenian Reformation, as well as a researcher of the Slovenian religious history of spir-ituality and pastoral practice. Rajhman critically engaged with the developments through the lens of new contextual theologies, which, following the Council, were faced with concrete manifestations of Christianity |
