| Summary: | The article offers an alternative view of science to that of Logical Empiricism within the confines of the discipline Industrial Psychology. This view, in contrast to that of Logical Empiricism, is pluralistic, anti-physicalist and anti-reductionist, avowing that each discipline is sovereign in its own sphere and that all disciplines cannot be reduced to one basic scientific discipline. The method followed in the article is the following: in the first instance an alternative fundamental idea is offered for the fundamental concept science. This constitutes a core definition of a basic, fundamental concept and indicates its crucial es sence. In the second place, a perspectivist fundamental method, through which the fundamental idea is arrived at, is outlined.
