Summary:An Arabic homily, attributed to Amba Christodoulos of Difrā, relates how two young men, Gesius and Isidorus, lived their ascetic life at home, caring for a sick person. After the latter's death, on their way to a monastery they discover where the head of St John the Baptist is hidden. After the recovery of the head, they die a holy death. Steindorff has published a Coptic version of the same story (BHO 485-486).
