The latter is an example of a complex tradition in which a Passion was first drawn up in Latin, then translated into Greek and finally in the 6th-7th century retranslated into Latin (BHL 6043). The edition of the retranslated text is preceded by an analysis of the Latin tradition of the four martyrs.
