| Summary: | El artículo analiza los fundamentos bíblicos y teológicos del sacramento de la penitencia en el contexto del Segundo Testamento, considerando su articulación entre la conversión personal, el perdón de los pecados y la dimensión comunitaria de la reconciliación. Desde un enfoque exegético y sistemático, se examinan los conceptos de pecado en singular y plural, su doble dimensión vertical y horizontal, y la dinámica de la conversión como respuesta libre a la iniciativa gratuita de la gracia divina. El concepto de pecado en el Segundo Testamento se entiende como una ruptura de la relación con Dios y con la comunidad, manifestándose en acciones concretas. El estudio se centra en los textos evangélicos que fundamentan el poder de atar y desatar conferido por Cristo a su Iglesia, especialmente en Mateo, Marcos y Juan, subrayando el carácter comunitario y sacramental de la reconciliación cristiana. Se destaca que el perdón no es un acto meramente jurídico ni privado, sino un proceso de restauración personal y eclesial, enraizado en la misericordia de Dios. La investigación concluye que la conversión y el perdón, entendidos como dones de Dios y tareas humanas, son procesos históricos y existenciales que requieren tanto la cooperación humana como el acompañamiento comunitario. The article analyzes the biblical and theological foundations of the sacrament of penance within the context of the Second Testament, considering its articulation between personal conversion, the forgiveness of sins, and the communal dimension of reconciliation. From an exegetical and systematic approach, it examines the concepts of sin in both the singular and plural forms, their double vertical and horizontal dimension, and the dynamic of conversion as a free response to the gratuitous initiative of divine grace. The concept of sin in the Second Testament is understood as a rupture in the relationship with God and the community, manifested in concrete actions. The study focuses on the Gospel texts that support the power of binding and loosing granted by Christ to His Church, especially in Matthew, Mark, and John, emphasizing the communal and sacramental character of Christian reconciliation. It highlights that forgiveness is neither a merely juridical nor a purely private act, but a process of personal and ecclesial restoration rooted in God's mercy. The research concludes that conversion and forgiveness, understood as both gifts of God and human tasks, are historical and existential processes that require both human cooperation and communal accompaniment. |
