Engaging these attributes comparatively, two questions are posed: How can these attributes be conceived today, and to what extent is a mutual learning across religious traditions possible? Thereby, a special focus is placed on the role of analytic philosophy. How do the philosopical ‘language games‘ used contribute to communicability across religions? Dieser Band untersucht traditionelle und zeitgenössische Ansätze zu den göttlichen Eigenschaften im christlich-muslimischen Dialog. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf den Eigenschaften Allmacht und Allwissenheit, Gerechtigkeit und Barmherzigkeit sowie Einfachheit und göttlichem Handeln. Durch die vergleichende Betrachtung dieser Eigenschaften stellen sich zwei Fragen: Wie können diese Eigenschaften heute verstanden werden und inwieweit ein gegenseitiges Lernen über religiöse Traditionen hinweg möglich ist?
