Description
Résumé:Historical geographical information can help the theologian to understand Solomon's prayer (1 Ki 8:22-53), especially verses 35-40. The crises in the worshipper's everyday life led to the composition of this prayer: A lack of rain, famine, crop diseases and locusts. If one does not understand the historical geographical background, one will also not understand why the worshipper is praying to Yahweh for help and forgiveness.
