La guérison du malade à Béthesda, le fait de rendre la vue à l’aveugle et la résurrection de Lazare, indiquent-ils les capacités vivifiantes de Jésus en tant que Créateur qui restaure aussi sa propre vie? The creation theology in the Gospel of John cannot be reduced to the first creation at the beginning of time (creatio prima) since there are also aspects of creatio continua. In this article, I want to focus on Jesus’s healings as acts of creation. Do Jesus’s words, healing the official’s son, have the same power as the Creator’s words at the beginning of creation? Do the healing of the sick man at Beth-zatha, the giving of sight to the blind man, and the raising of Lazarus point to the life-giving abilities of Jesus as Creator who also restores his own life? |
