Der Papst verbindet den Schutz der Natur eng mit Forderungen nach Armuts-bekämpfung und sozialer Ge ¬rechtigkeit. Dabei nimmt er von vornherein eine globale Perspektive ein, spricht von der Einheit der »Menschheits¬familie«, dem »gemeinsamen Haus«, das sie bewohnt, ja, er weitet den Begriff der Mensch¬heitsfamilie auch auf zukünftige Generationen aus und bezieht in die »universelle Gemein¬schaft« alle Geschöpfe Gottes mit ein. Gleichwohl folgert er aus seiner Kritik des modernen Anthropozentrismus keine biozentrische Position, da er an der besonderen Stellung des Menschen in der Schöpfung festhält. Auch fordert der Papst für die Lösung der ökologischen und sozialen Probleme die faire Beteiligung aller, also eine umfassende Verfahrensgerech¬tigkeit, und sieht dabei auch die Kirche in der Pflicht. Whereas the encyclical Laudato si’ of Pope Francis is generally viewed as a »climate encycli¬cal,« this article brings out that it is quite fundamentally con¬cerned with justice. The Pope closely connects the protection of nature with demands for fighting poverty and for social justice. From the very start he assumes a global perspective here, talking about the unity of the »human family« and the »common home« it inhabits. Indeed, he also extends the concept of the human family to future generations and includes all of God’s creatures in the »universal communion.« He does not, however, deduce a biocentric position from his criticism of modern anthropo¬centrism since he holds onto the special status of humans in creation. To solve the ecological and social problems, the Pope also demands the fair partici¬pation of everyone, that is, comprehensive procedural jus¬tice, and, at the same time, also sees this as a duty of the Church. Mientras que la encíclica Laudato si‘ del Papa Francisco es tenida por una »encíclica ecológica«, este artículo defiende la idea de que en ella se trata sobre todo de la justicia. El Papa une estrechamente la protección de la naturaleza con las exigencias de luchar contra la pobreza y por la justicia social. Asume para ello desde el principio una perspectiva global, habla de la unidad de la »fami¬lia humana«, de la »casa común«, en la que habita, y, además, amplía el concepto de familia humana a las genera¬ciones futuras, incluyendo en la »comunidad universal« a todas las criaturas de Dios. Al mismo tiempo, de su crítica al antropocentrismo moderno no deduce una posición biocén¬trica, pues mantiene la posición especial del hombre en la crea¬ción. Para solucionar los pro¬blemas ecológicos y sociales, el Papa exige además la partici¬pación correcta de todos, es decir, una justicia participativa global, que debe tomar forma también en la Iglesia. |
