| Summary: | Le débat sur la matière eucharistique en rapport avec l’identité culturelle reste actuel en raison de l’importance de la question identitaire que renforce un contexte de mondialisation. Un tel débat légitime une réflexion critique sur la notion de pain, pour en élargir la compréhension afin que cette notion exprime chaque particularité et, contribue ainsi à donner plus de sens au caractère universel de l’eucharistie, privilégiant par le fait même une inculturation du rite chrétien dans le sens d’une véritable libération en Afrique subsaharienne. The debate on Eucharistic matter in relation to cultural identity remains topical, given the importance of the question of identity in a context of globalization. Such a debate legitimizes a critical reflection on the notion of bread, in order to broaden its understanding so that it expresses each particularity and, in so doing, contributes to giving greater meaning to the universal character of the Eucharist, thereby favoring an inculturation of the Christian rite in the sense of a genuine liberation in sub-Saharan Africa. |
