Description
Summary:This essay documents, through two events of the late fifteenth century, the progress of the works in the Sacred Convent and a hypothesis, of expansion, of Cardinal Egidio Albornoz. The essay is divided into two parts; in Part I, a condemnatory sentence is exposed for the works not finished during the pontificate of Sixtus IV while, in Part II, the architectural idea of Albornoz is reported, within a dispute for theft. A section of images illustrates the unpublished sentence and architectural drawings for comparison.
