Description
Summary:India, a land of many religions, is a celebration of the senses, having myriad cultures, languages, and cuisines. All of these individual characteristics are integrated into a matrix or mosaic of civilization that is the beauty and unity in diversity of India. The country has a timeless ethos, heritage, and patrimony imprinted indelibly on every soul born there. I have had the opportunity to breathe in and integrate these infinite possibilities, one among them being interfaith dialogue. This involves integrating and interacting with the faith visions of various religions, movements, and spiritual developments that bind individuals together into a society, community, and civilization. This article describes my journey through the intertwining life experiences of the West (especially of the Greek ethos) and the East (specifically of India), which I integrate into a spiritual exercise known as philo-yoga or Christayan. This marks a turning into Christ consciousness and a deepening of my own spirituality.
